The town of Apex will host Peak Fest this Saturday. These small town festivals help give the Triangle its charm. Apex’s Peak Fest will feature over 200 vendors of arts and crafts and food. There will be also be stages with music and dancers, rides, and roving street performers.

The main stage will feature:

  • Skeeter Brandon 10am-12pm
  • The Embers 1-3 pm
  • David Spencer 4-5 pm

The festival is this Saturday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm on Salem Street in downtown Apex, and it’s free!

This location is one of Raleigh’s strangest restaurant stories in recent memory. Just as the North Hills and Capital Blvd locations closed about a year ago, Bennigan’s opened a brand new location in Apex with horrible frontage. While it’s no suprise that the location ultimately didn’t survive, it is probably more of a surprise that it ever opened.
