If you’re interested in art, music, and breakfast at midnight, then Saturday, Nov. 18, is your chance to have it all. artspace, the downtown artists colony, is celebrating its 20th anniversary in a big way that night.
A black-tie dinner and auction at artspace has sold out, but you can still buy tickets to the after-party at Zydeco right next to artspace. Zydeco is the Moore Square jazz bar that exhibits the work of artspace artists, and the after-party will feature performances by Marcus Mitchell, Mixed Waters and Chocolate Buttermilk.
The after-party goes from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. with desserts, live music and dancing. Tickets are $25 in advance (just call Artspace at 821-2787) or $35 per person at the door.
