To add icing to the cake, when I walked out of the museum Friday, I headed out on that gravel path through the wildflowers on the way to the parking lot. As soon as I was out from under the overhang, about 50 geese in 3 separate clumps flew over pretty low. It was a nice morning. :D Yeah we’ll be going back for sure. I knew it would be elbow to elbow, but thought I'd just take a peek and see what I'd like to focus on most when I go back another day. Even with the crowds it was exhilarating -- deliriously wonderful -- (and I'm not even that big a fan of Impressionism). To head off "sensory overload" I decided to leave after seeing a selection of about one-third of the pictures. I'll definitely be back! I was fortunate, like Yoga, to be able to get to the free preview.
