
Josh Kelley will play Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre on Wednesday night with Charles Kelley opening up. The event is part of Jimmy V Week, benefiting the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and cost $15 for general admission and $25 for reserved seats. According to the venue’s website, Kelley broke through in 2001 on with "For The Ride Home," an album that showcased his no-nonsense expressiveness and disarmingly genuine delivery. "Almost Honest," Kelley’s last release, topped the Billboard New Artist Chart upon release and received wide acclaim from critics. Kelley presents a range of musical styles that include soulful, pop driven melodies. Kelly demonstrates his continued growth and ability with the July 24 release of his third album, "Just Say the Word."
