Crossroads Ford Moves to Big Quarters

Crossroads Ford is moving to the largest indoor showroom in the U.S. The 2333 Walnut St. warehouse-styled showroom is featured on the dealership’s vastly improved television commercials. Gone is loudmouth Tom Smith and in is smooth lady Francis Scott.

    Interesting that I saw on News14 today that Ford is actually wanting to cut back on the number of dealerships out there because their vehicles aren’t selling well.

    I don’t care where Crossroads Ford moves to – I decided long ago never to shop there because I was so irritated by Tom Smith. They had to know people hated it but it kept on for years. To patronize such a place would be to reward horrible marketing.

    It doesn’t matter if you liked Tom Smith or not, he sold cars!!! It doesn’t matter if you like Crossroads Ford at all, they are still the second largest Ford dealer in the nation. They know how to market their product. Francis Scott is a touch of class but since when has class been associated with selling auto’s????

    Well, I guess good for Tom Smith if his tactics worked for him and Crossroads Ford. I guess my disdain should be reserved for the peolpe who respond to that kind of advertising.
