With so much going on with Raleigh development, some great things in Durham have been somewhat overshadowed. There still are some great things in Durham, and investors are seeing downtown’s potential for the future. My Durham favorites, Magnolia Grill and Pop’s, are going strong while recent additions, The Streets at Southpoint mall and the American Tobacco Complex, have proven that new projects can thrive in Durham.
- One of the Triangle’s biggest retailing scores in a long time is Urban Outfitters’ new store at Streets at Southpoint Mall which will open in the Fall.

scale to the historic SunTrust (CCB) tower." - McPherson Hospital Redevelopment (image 1, image 2)
